Director's Message

Dear Varnett Southeast Family,

It is with great pleasure that I am able to serve you and your children here at Varnett Southeast, for the 2019-20 academic school year.

I would like to take this opportunity to introduce our new parents and students to Varnett Southeast. Our goal is to ensure an excellent education for all students by providing rigorous lessons and quality instruction. Through the implementation of Restorative Justice, we train our students how to resolve conflict amongst themselves, in the most positive way. Together, we encourage and educate our students to persevere, be knowledgeable, responsible, confident and productive citizens in today’s society. Your ongoing assistance and support makes it all possible.

We are extremely proud of our Award Winning “Chess, Cheer and Dance” teams. Furthermore, we are happy to announce that our Boys Basketball team joined the Charter School League this year.

Parents, we need you. I ask that each day you take the time to discuss the day your children had at school. Stop by sometimes, and attend as many parent events as you can throughout the year.  Assist them with homework and ensure that they get enough sleep each night so that they are ready to receive instruction each day. Through ongoing communication and collaboration, success is inevitable. I am a servant leader, and here at Varnett Southeast, we are here to serve you. Let’s make this a great school year!

Sincerely,

Ms. Jessika Hearne
Southeast Campus Director
